Meet Our Team

Jacquelynn Dorman

Born and raised in Odessa, I have always had deep roots in the Permian Basin community. I have been married for 18 years and am a proud mother of three.

I graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in 2015, where I earned my Baccalaureate in the Science of Nursing. In 2016, I was honored with induction into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. I continued my education at Chamberlain University, earning my Master of Science in Nursing with distinction in 2018. That same year, I successfully passed my national board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

I am an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, and Advanced Practice Nurses of the Permian Basin. I have been a certified DOT medical examiner since 2019.  I am credentialed with Medical Center Hospital and hold both ACLS and BLS certifications.

With a passion for family practice, I love working with patients of all ages. My personal goal of owning my own practice stems from my desire to provide individualized care, focusing on preventative health and building long-term relationships with my patients and their families.

Driven by a commitment to compassionate care, I chose a career in nursing to join a noble profession dedicated to helping others.

I was raised in Odessa and have been married for 11 years with three wonderful children. My journey in nursing began with an associate degree in nursing from Midland College, followed by a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. I then earned my Master of Science in Nursing with distinction from the University of Arlington in 2016. That same year, I was honored to be inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and passed my national board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

I am a proud member of the Advanced Practice Nurses of the Permian Basin, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Texas Nurse Practitioners. In addition, I have been a DOT Medical Examiner since 2019 and am credentialed with Medical Center Hospital. I hold certifications in both ACLS and BLS, and my experience spans acute care hospital medicine, critical care, and the cardiac cath lab.

I’m fluent in Spanish, which allows me to connect with a broader range of patients, especially Spanish speakers, and foster stronger relationships while prioritizing preventive care. I love family medicine because it gives me the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, providing comprehensive care and focusing on prevention and well-being across generations.

My goal is to offer exceptional, personalized care to every patient in a welcoming and supportive environment. As a nurse practitioner, I value the relationships I build with my patients, and I’m committed to guiding them toward better health through individualized care and preventive measures.
